Toshiba Aplio XG LCD

The Canon Toshia Aplio XG LCD is a high-end ultrasound machine for cardiology. It was launched in 2007 and replaced its predecessor, the Aplio 80, and offers improved technologies and more features. It has many cardiac-centric features such as Stress Echo, Cardiac Calculations, and various Doppler imaging modes for accurate heart diagnostics.

Along with the cardiac modality, the Aplio XG is compatible with OB/GYN, breast, vascular, and general imaging. It boasts high-resolution 3D/4D imaging for OB/GYN and Toshiba’s leading-edge MicroFlow contrast precision imaging. This provides ultra-clear 4D imaging with superb clarity– useful for early and accurate detection of microcalcifications (a biomarker for malignant breast tumors).

Although the Canon Toshiba Aplio XG LCD is a bit bulky compared to newer machines, it delivers excellent performance at a significantly reduced cost.
