Philips Visiq

The Philips Visiq is a touchscreen, tablet-sized ultrasound machine designed for OB-GYN, abdominal, and general imaging modalities. It is lightweight, thin, and includes a kickstand that allows it to be easily placed at the bedside tray or any flat surface. The workflow of the Philips Visiq is intuitive and smartphone-like, utilizing touch gestures and zooming in/out on images by making a pinching motion. The image quality is as good as a cart-based and utilizes SonoCT technology to use multiple lines of sight on the patient. The Philips Visiq also includes no-touch intelligent optimization, which automatically digitally enhances image quality. The Visiq ultrasound machine does this by detecting the tissue type and adjusting the image gain accordingly.
