The Philips EPIQ 5 premium shared service ultrasound machine combines superb ergonomics, excellent mobility, and advanced workflow. The EPIQ 5 has fantastic clinical performance and efficient workflow, allowing more patients to be scanned than traditional machines. The EPIQ 5 includes Philip’s advanced imaging architecture called nSIGHT. nSIGHT uses special beamforming and processing technology to provide highly detailed temporal, spatial, and contrast resolution.

Besides nSIGHT, the Philips EPIQ 5 has many other features that assist with workflow and usability, such as TrueVue advanced 3D display, MaxVue 21.5” HD display, PureWave crystal technology, iSCAN (AutoScan), and a tablet-like touch interface. Considering the number of its premium features, the EPIQ 5 comes in a portable compact package adding to its usefulness as a shared service system. The EPIQ 5 is a more cost-effective package than the Philips EPIQ 7- the EPIQ 7 comes with additional image processing options and XMATRIX transducers. The EPIQ 5 and EPIQ 7 look nearly identical.
