The EPIQ 7 uses Philips advanced imaging architecture, nSIGHT. nSIGHT technology increases penetration by over 75% when compared to traditional cart-style ultrasound machines.

It also provides higher frame rates and resolution and better contrast. The EPIQ 7 looks mostly identical to the Philips EPIQ 5. However, the EPIQ 7 comes with additional imaging abilities with the Philips xMATRIX ultrasound probes. When used with the premium xMATRIX probes, the Philips EPIQ 7 provides the most advanced 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging capabilities.
