The GE Venue 50 is the long-awaited upgrade of the GE Venue 40. It is a tablet-style ultrasound machine that is designed for point-of-care applications. Like the GE Venue 40, the Venue 50 easily mounts and detaches from the slim, ergonomic cart. A significant change from the GE Venue 40, the Venue 50’s touchscreen can now be used without a stylus.

The GE Venue 50 is built to suit basic ultrasound modalities, including MSK, anesthesia, vascular, interventional, emergency medicine, and basic cardiac. It has a simple, intuitive design, and it is easy to start up and scan in just one go. The Venue 50’s workflow is simplified with just three simple selections: home, review, and scan.

It is easily disinfected, it boots quickly, and it is battery-powered. This means staff can move it quickly from patient to patient. The Venue 50 has built-in needle guidance, CrossXBeam, Speckle Reduction Imaging and is compatible with GE’s 10C-SC microconvex probes.
