The GE Voluson E8 BT13 is an excellent option for any women’s health clinic that needs an advanced, 4D-capable ultrasound machine. Boasting HDlive software, advanced imaging capabilities, and unparalleled clinical value since its launch in 2006, it’s no surprise that the Voluson E8 has become one of the most desired and frequently purchased OB/GYN ultrasounds worldwide. The BT13 (released in 2013) provided hardware improvements and several firmware/software updates.

The Voluson E8 is the successor of the GE Voluson 730 series. The Voluson E8 provided several updates in 4D imaging (HD Live), Radiance System Architecture, high-performance CPU, OmniView, and Advanced Volume Contrast Imaging.

In 2012, the leading-edge GE replaced the Voluson E8 with the newer Voluson E10, which has superior hardware, software, and better 4D imaging capabilities. Despite its age, the Voluson E8 BT13 is still highly functional and available at a fraction of what you would pay for its Voluson E10.
