The Voluson E6 BT18 is GE’s gold standard ultrasound machine for OB/GYN modalities. It is part of GE’s “Expert” series, offering fewer features than the Voluson E8. Despite not being the most advanced OB/GYN ultrasound machine in GE’s E series, the Voluson E6 BT18 offers many high-quality OB/GYN features while being reasonably affordable.

The Voluson E6 BT18 ultrasound machine provides great ergonomics/comfort, leading OB/GYN features, simple and customizable workflow, and 3D/4D imaging. It incorporates a 10.4-inch touch panel that pairs nicely with the traditional knob, button, and trackball controls. And the Scan Assistant feature optimizes workflow in every obstetric scan.

GE launched the Voluson E6’s “BT18” revision in 2018. This revision has several software/firmware upgrades/improvements, feature improvements, bug fixes, and efficiency updates.
