GE Vivid S60 R2 v202

The GE Vivid S60 R2 v202 is a premium cardiovascular ultrasound machine that uses GE’s cSound beamforming software. It is a mid-tier unit that replaces the GE Vivid S5 and Vivid S6. It has a large 19” HD LCD and offers great image quality with incredible contrast, leading to more accurate diagnosis.

Over its predecessors, the Vivid S60 has improved workflow, advanced cSound architecture, and a better set of cardiac features. Its 12” multi-touch LCD interference makes it ergonomic and intuitive, streamlining workflow.

The GE Vivid S60 and GE Vivid S70 look nearly identical because they are built with the same hardware and software, but they don’t have the same features. The higher-end S70 has 4D TEE with the M5Sc-D XDclear probe. On the other hand, the Vivid S60 does not have 4D imaging but has a lower cost.

The Vivid S60 is made for cardiology clinics but it is compatible with several GE ultrasound probes making it a useful shared-service system. To round out its features, the GE Vivid S60 has a battery backup making it easy to transport to patients for quick scanning. The R2 v202 version has updated firmware which removed various bugs, optimized performance and added a few features.
