The GE Vivid iq is an advanced portable cardiology ultrasound machine. It has a streamlined user interface and simple walk-up usability. Besides cardiac applications, it also has shared service support for OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, MSK, and abdominal applications. The Vivid iq is GE’s replacement for the widely popular GE Vivid q, with several important software and hardware updates/upgrades.

A unique feature of the GE Vivid iq is its touchscreen, which operates like a smartphone or tablet. It features an easily disinfected, water-resistant enclosure, making it fast and easy to clean. Plus, it is both 10% thinner and lighter than the Vivid q, improving portability.

The Vivid iq has a robust battery with 1-hour of scanning time and a Smart Standby mode to extend the charge when not in active use. It has several leading cardiac features, including stress echo for adults, Intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), 4D TEE, and several more.
